Speaker for August Gathering for North Dakota Chaplains’ Association

Rev. Jake Kincaid

Jake Kincaid is a native of North Carolina. He was educated at Wake Forest University, The Divine School of Duke University, and the Graduate School of Emory University, where he earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in ethics. Jake has served Presbyterian congregations in North Carolina and Virginia. He has taught in schools and colleges in Georgia, North Carolina, and North Dakota. He has served on medical center institutional review boards and ethics committees and has made a number of presentations on topics in health ethics. He has spoken at the North Dakota Long Term Care Convention. Jake and his wife moved to Bismarck in 1999, where he is pastor of First Presbyterian Church.

TOPIC: “Hope and Futility.”

It will count as at least 4 hours of theology.
